Liners is a modern discovery and comparison platform designed to showcase the growing ecosystem of software products built specifically for Africa. The platform acts as a centralized hub where users can browse, compare, review, and discover African technology solutions across multiple industries and countries. From fintech and health tech to logistics, education, crypto, and developer tools, Liners brings together hundreds of innovative products into one organized and searchable directory. Its mission is to make it easier for businesses, investors, and everyday users to explore African-made digital products and make informed decisions. One of the most unique aspects of Liners is its AI-driven infrastructure. The platform states that its ecosystem is fully managed by nine AI agents that continuously organize information, manage comparisons, analyze products, and assist with reviews and recommendations. These AI agents, with names like Standup Stevo, QA Quinn, and TL;DR Tara, give the platform a modern and intelligent identity while emphasizing automation and continuous monitoring. By combining artificial intelligence with curated product data, Liners creates a constantly evolving database that remains active and updated around the clock. The website offers several core features that improve product discovery and decision-making. Users can follow products, compare competing platforms, write reviews, search for alternatives, discover investors, and even submit their own startups or applications to the directory. The smart search functionality allows visitors to filter products by country, category, platform, and ranking preferences, helping users quickly find relevant software solutions tailored to their needs. This makes Liners not just a product directory, but a powerful research tool for exploring Africa’s rapidly expanding tech ecosystem. Liners highlights software products from many African countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, and others. The platform features companies operating in sectors such as financial technology, education technology, healthcare, logistics, agriculture, real estate, and cloud infrastructure. Examples include payment platforms, international remittance services, online learning applications, hosting providers, healthcare booking systems, and commodity trading solutions. Each product listing contains concise descriptions, categories, alternatives, and country identifiers, making it easier for users to understand the product’s purpose and market focus. Another important component of Liners is its review system. Users can leave ratings and share experiences with products and services directly on the platform. These reviews create a community-driven environment where people can learn from the opinions of real users before making decisions. The reviews cover various aspects such as delivery quality, ease of use, customer service, transaction security, and overall performance. This social layer adds authenticity and transparency to the platform while helping users identify trusted and popular products. Liners also serves as a valuable resource for entrepreneurs, startups, and investors. The platform includes sections dedicated to funding, investors, events, ecosystem resources, and startup promotion. Businesses can submit their products, advertise services, and gain visibility within Africa’s growing digital economy. By connecting startups with audiences, reviewers, and potential investors, Liners positions itself as more than a marketplace of information—it becomes part of the infrastructure supporting innovation and entrepreneurship across the continent. The platform strongly emphasizes African innovation and identity. Its slogan highlights that it is “made with love in Africa for Africans,” reinforcing its mission to support local technology ecosystems and increase the visibility of African-built software globally. The website also maintains transparency by clarifying that product information is aggregated from public sources and used strictly for informational purposes. References to third-party brands and trademarks are presented under nominative fair use guidelines. Overall, Liners is an ambitious AI-powered discovery platform focused on organizing and promoting African software products at scale. Through smart search tools, comparison systems, community reviews, and automated AI management, the platform provides users with a comprehensive way to explore the African tech landscape. It combines product discovery, market research, and ecosystem support into a single digital platform designed to help African innovation reach a broader audience.
